🏢 Who we are

DartQuest the App is a learning utility built by Mahafujer Rahman to help you explore Dart tutorials, practice code, and take quick quizzes.

🔒 What data we (do not) collect

We designed DartQuest to work without user accounts and without collecting personal information.

We may process minimal, non‑identifying technical data that your device or the operating system provides in the normal course of running an app (e.g., generic crash information, OS version) to keep the app working. Where applicable, crash/diagnostic data collection is opt‑in per your device or app store settings.

📱 What the app does

• Opens external learning pages (e.g., geeksforgeeks.org) and DartPad (dartpad.dev) via your browser or an in‑app web view
• Lets you share a store/app link using your device's native share sheet (no data is stored by us)
• Runs local quizzes (MCQs) and basic navigation; your choices stay on your device unless you choose to share them

📢 Ads in the App

To support the development of DartQuest, we show limited ads in the app. These ads are served through privacy‑respecting ad networks and do not collect personal data.

Specifically, we show:

• Banner Ads: Displayed at the bottom of certain screens
• App Open Ads: Shown briefly when you launch the app

We do not use personalized advertising or behavioral tracking. Ad behavior is subject to your device’s privacy and ad settings.

🔗 Third‑party services

When you open external links from the app, those sites may collect data under their own policies. Examples:

• GeeksforGeeks — https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/
• DartPad — https://dartpad.dev/

We do not control third‑party websites. Please review their privacy policies.

🔑 Permissions

• Internet (android.permission.INTERNET): required to open external tutorials and DartPad
• (Optional) Cleartext traffic: not used by default; if you open non‑HTTPS links, your OS/network policies apply

We do not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, or storage permissions.

👶 Children's privacy

DartQuest is a general‑audience educational app and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided personal data to us, contact mahafujer.work@gmail.com and we'll address it promptly.

🛡️ Data security

• We keep data processing on‑device wherever possible
• External content generally loads over HTTPS (secure) connections
• No backend server of ours stores your personal data

📝 Updates to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect app changes or legal requirements. We'll post the updated policy here with a new "Effective date". Material changes will be highlighted within the app or release notes where reasonable.
